Position Overview: As the Assistant Website Manager, you will work closely with our Website Manager to ensure the smooth functioning and optimization of our county party’s website. You will play a key role in updating content, implementing design enhancements, and troubleshooting technical issues to enhance the user experience and drive engagement. Key Responsibilities:
- Content Management:
- Assist in updating and maintaining website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements, to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency.
- Collaborate with content creators and stakeholders to gather and publish new content, announcements, and event information in a timely manner.
- Implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engine visibility and improve website performance.
- Design and User Experience:
- Support website design initiatives, including layout enhancements, graphics creation, and user interface improvements, to enhance the visual appeal and usability of the website.
- Utilize graphic design tools and templates to create engaging visuals, banners, and promotional materials for website promotion and branding purposes.
- Conduct regular usability testing and analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance the user experience.
- Technical Support:
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to website functionality, performance, and compatibility across different devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with web developers and IT support to implement website upgrades, patches, and security enhancements as needed.
- Stay informed about emerging web technologies and best practices to recommend innovative solutions for website optimization and performance.
